Dr. Daniel Burstein received his DDS degree from the University of California San Francisco School of Dentistry in 1988. He completed his Orthodontic Specialty training at UCSF in 1992. Dr. Burstein continues to pursue educational programs to update the techniques, skills, and knowledge that will help him best serve you over the course of your orthodontic treatment. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association and the Southern Society of Orthodontists.
Dr. Burstein was born in Santiago, Chile. His family moved to Topeka, Kansas then to San Diego. Dr. Burstein and his wife, Yo, moved from California to Atlanta in 1993. They have three boys: Sam age 23, and Jake and Josh age 21. All three boys attended Walton High School. Both Jake and Josh attend the University of South Carolina where they are majoring in Geophysics.
The Burstein family is focused on health, sports, and academics. Dr. Burstein is an avid ultra-marathoner. His goal is to complete 31 different 100 mile races. We will leave it to you to ask him why!
